Afternoon: We will depart from Cu Chi and drive for two hours to My Tho City, stopping at a restaurant along the way for lunch.
Upon arrival in My Tho, a boat will take you along a small canal, providing a tranquil escape from the busy town. The boat cruise through the coconut tree-lined canal will bring us to a coconut island in Ben Tre. Here, we'll disembark and stroll around the village, stopping at a local family's home to enjoy tropical fruit, taste honey tea and honey wine, and listen to traditional Vietnamese music performed by the villagers.
We will continue our walk along the village road to a coconut candy shop, where you can learn how to make candy and see some handicrafts made from coconut trees. As we walk through the village, you'll encounter a variety of fruits, flowers, trees, local houses, and children of the Mekong Delta. Take your time to capture beautiful photos and enjoy the natural scenery.
