This Cider tour combines lunch and cider tasting with some of the best tourist attractions in Norway like the Hopperstad Stave Church, Storesvingen Viewpoint and Tvindefossen waterfall and finally a cruise on the Sognefjord.

This is an unique tour to the winery in Sognefjord area where you will taste natural local wines and Cider and lunch. You will have a chance to learn about wine and cider from our experts and observe the creation of it.

The tour starts out from Bergen to Vik with luxury Minibus and include cruise on Sognefjord on board MV Fjord Lady from Vik to Balestrand.

On the decent from Vikafjell Mountain, the bus will stop at the "Storesvingen" Viewpoint. The site offer magnificent view over the village of Vik and Sognefjord.

Hopperstad Stave Church dates from around year 1130 and is the oldest Stave Church in excistence.

The church is an example of the brilliant craftmanship found in Norway with respect to structure, materials, decoration and interior. There will be a guided tour in the church.

Cruise on board MV Fjord Lady from Vik by the Sognefjord to the village of Balestrand.

This Fjord & Cider tour will take you to the charming family run ciderhouse - Ciderhuset - in Balestrand by the Sognefjord. Sogn is the oldest apple area in Norway, where apple trees have been blooming since the Viking age. You will taste high quality ciders and learn about ciders, fruit wines and fruit brandies from one of the family members.

Lunch. On arrival Balestrand there will be lunch with Fish Soup, fresh bread and butter, vegan and vegetarian option. Lunsj is includen in ticket.

After the tasteful lunch, we continue the tour to the Cider House.

Balestrand is an idyllic village on the main Sognefjord with its narrow fjord branches and scenic and lush mountain landscape. Here you will find high mountains, deep fjords and peace and quiet.

You can enjoy various day tours, activities, hiking trails and cultural and art experiences.

After visiting Balestrand you will not only speak about majestic mountains and the odd whale in the fjord. Your stories will include the smell of the fresh air, the light in the endless summer evenings, the colourful panoramas in autumn and the glittering, crunching snow in the winter.

Tvindefossen waterfall: Tvindefossen waterfall is 110 meters high and popular among tourists. There are many myths related to Tvindefossen waterfall and we will leave it up to the guide to tell you about some of them. Most visitors find the waterfall impressive as you can walk close to the water.
