About this experience

This tour is dedicated almost exclusively to Sintra, as it is a village with so much to show to those who visit it.
Sintra is like a book, the one we read and want to reread again, we liked it so much. A book whose pages reveal legends, romanticism, history, mystery, and just like a book that we read avidly because we want to know what follows in the story, this is our tour. Each step along the way, reveals wonderful places, even breathtaking, and each time you move forward, we become more curious to know where it will lead, what will be revealed next. Green is the dominant color, which leaves us fascinated and involves everything around us. Surrounded by greenery, the monuments and other buildings share the beauty of the place. We want to show you what is most beautiful in Sintra, involved in this dream atmosphere.

Detailed itinerary

1
Stop 1

Once a convent, it was restored by D. Fernando II, in the 19th century, and became the summer residence. In many styles, it is considered one of the seven wonders of Portugal. This Palace was the favorite of Queen D. Amélia, wife of King D. Carlos I. It was here that a lunch was served to the retinue of King Edward VII of the United Kingdom, when he came to Portugal in 1903.
Are you curious to know more about this Palace? So come and visit him with us, as he has many stories to tell.

2
Stop 2

How about going up to Castelo dos Mouros? From here you can enjoy a beautiful landscape.
D. Fernando II, decided to undertake several works, creating places of contemplation, access paths and abundant vegetation.

3
Stop 3

Also known as the Monteiro dos Milhões Palace, nickname of the former owner, it is a place that reflects in its architecture and in the surrounding space, all the symbols referring to its ideologies and interests. Here, the glorious past of Portugal, from the height of the Discoveries, is evoked, hence the neo-Manueline, Gothic and classical styles. The themes related to the Templars, alchemy and Freemasonry are also present at this Quinta.

4
Stop 4

After leaving the magical environment of Sintra, here we come to the westernmost point of mainland Portugal, as well as mainland Europe, as shown by a headstone inserted in a pattern. In this place there are unique plant species.
Described in the work “Os Lusíadas”, by Luis Vaz de Camões, as the place “Where the land ends and the sea begins”.

5

The name is due to the morphology of the rocks and the amazing impact of the waves in the place. The landscape is a must, especially the sunset.

6

The village has been considered an important tourist destination for some years. Surrounded by beautiful beaches, and with the sea and the old mansions as the main scenario, it cannot fail to be a beautiful way to end this tour, which will leave memories that will remain in your memory forever.
