Detailed itinerary

1

we start this tour in Chokramudi Peak is a unique and less explored place realatively. It is one of the highest peaks of Munnar in Idukki district of Kerala. Situated at an altitude of around 7,200 ft, it stands isolated from other hill ranges. This peak gives the most spectacular view of the tea plantations, Idukki Dam and the Anamudi Peak.

With it's incredible view, the Chokramudi Peak actually lies in the Eravikulam National Park so the Forest Department will have some formalities to be fulfilled before starting the trek. Since it is located in a national park, the hill is filled with lush evergreen Shola forest, and the park is home to one of the largest number of animals such as Nilgiri Tahrs, Gaurs and Asian Elephants.

2

Final part of this tour we reach pothamedu view point,,This Viewpoint is one of those places in Munnar which fills you with refreshing vibes. A never-ending cover of tea plantations, evergreen meadows and cars turning cautiously on the winding road below is the scene you witness.

It offers a panoramic view of Munnar and the surrounding hills covered with coffee, cardamom, pepper plantations and tea. You trek your way through them to reach the vantage point.
