Jerez Historic Guided Tour and Cathedral

From the plaza, we'll head to the exterior of the Alcázar, an imposing vestige of 12th-century Almohad architecture. From here, we'll admire the robust walls and the iconic entrance gate, while unraveling the secrets of the battles, alliances, and legends that forged the destiny of Jerez.

Cathedral Redoubt
Continuing our route, we'll head to the Cathedral Redoubt, a Baroque gem that combines Renaissance and neoclassical influences. Here you can admire the impressive façade and, optionally, enjoy panoramic views from its bell tower.

We'll enter the Cathedral, where you'll be captivated by its interior grandeur. The high vaults, stained-glass windows, and gilded altarpieces will transport you to another era. There will also be time to admire the monumental organ, one of the largest in Andalusia, and explore the side chapels.

From there, we'll walk to Plaza de la Asunción, home to the Church of San Dionisio, a Gothic-Mudejar example, and the historic Cabildo Viejo, a window into Jerez's medieval past.
