About this experience

We invite you to visit Paracas and La Huacachina in Ica, sail through the Paracas Sea and admire marine fauna such as Sea Wolves, Humboldt's Penguins, Seals and more.
You will taste the sweets Iqueños and the typical drinks of the region, you can also have lunch in restaurants of typical national food and know about the production of the wine.

Detailed itinerary

Stop 1

We start our day heading to Paracas from Lima (the trip takes approximately 3 hours).

We arrive at the tourist pier where we will start our excursion to the Ballestas Islands, a protected maritime reserve, for this tour we will take a ride in the slider, each participant will have life jackets, along the way you can appreciate El Candelabra, which is a large geoglyph very similar to the lines of Nasca. This island are natural rock formations that are home to important marine fauna, where large colonies of glovebirds (guanay, boobies, pelicans, cormorants, tendrils, etc.) also can visualize sea lions, Humboldt penguins and dolphins according to the season. Travel time inside is 1 hour 30 minutes.
Upon return, we will perform a tasting of typical local sweets such as chocotejas, tiles, cookies and more; and then a short time of shopping and photography.

You will know the famous Huacachina Lagoon and the wonderful desert. We'll hike the dunes, get on the sand carts and do some sandboarding in the desert.
Take plenty of water, blocker and hat with you.

Stop 3

Afterwards we will head towards the area of typical restaurants with their wineries and vineyards. There we will have time to delight with a rich lunch (optional), then we will know what the process of making a wine and pisco is like through a wine tour, to finally delight with a lively tasting of Peruvian wines and piscos.
Later we will return to the city of Lima, where on the way we will make a technical stop for snacks and service uses.
