Wine & Cheese is a tasting for those who want to approach the world of regional cuisine and at the same time visiting some of the most beautiful monumental areas of the old city. The tasting is conducted by our Wine Expert guide and includes a brief guided walk of about 30-45 minutes to admire some of the most interesting monumental sites of the city (about 1 km), up until reaching a renowned wine Bar in a sophisticated environment, where you will be waited in order to start the joint tasting, served with elegant cutlery and glasses, of five types of excellent quality Sicilian cheese, from the freshest to the most aged, almond cookies and six important wines representative of the main local varieties, such as Nero d’Avola and Catarratto, and a dessert wine. The Sicilian wine, of secular tradition, has won over in recent decades the markets all over the world and the dairy Sicilian tradition is one of the oldest and most appreciated in Italy.
