Stop 1

DEPARTURES FROM ISTANBUL: We will pick you up from your hotel (or at your Airbnb address if parking is available) in Istanbul and transfer you to airport for your flight to Denizli. Upon arrival at Denizli Cardak Airport, your tour guide and driver will meet you at the arrival terminal exit gate and drive you to Pamukkale Natural Park for your guided tour. This service is valid for bookings with the 'from-to Istanbul Hotels' option.

DEPARTURES FROM HOTELS IN PAMUKKALE OR KARAHAYIT: Your tour guide and driver will meet you at the reception of your hotel Pamukkale or Karahayit. They will then drive you to Pamukkale Natural Park for your guided tour. This service is valid for bookings with the 'from-to Pamukkale Hotels' option.

Pamukkale Natural Park, a must-visit destination for Nature and History lovers. For centuries, people have been coming here and going home restful. This natural park provide you experiences at the white travertenies of Pamukkale, Cleopatra Pools and ancient city of Hierapolis which are located in Pamukkale Natural Park.

The highlights of the Hierapolis Ancient City are Roman Baths, Domitian Gate, Latrina, Oil Factory, Frontinus Street, Agora, Byzantium Gate, Triton Fountain, Cathedral, Apollon Temple, Plutonium, Theater and Antique Pool. During visits to these ancient ruins, you can take some photos from the nicest corners of the Pamukkale.

Stop 5

After visited the Hierapolis Ancient City, you will have free time for about 60-75 minutes to explore the natural beauties of the Pamukkale, and swim at white travertines - thermal pools (Admission to the thermal pools is free if you have a ticket for Pamukkale Natural Park and Hierapolis Ancient City).

Stop 6

Situated above the Pamukkale white travertine pools is one particularly spectacular location fed by the same hot springs. Here you can bath in the same waters in which Cleopatra once swam! A professionally run modern spa facility allows you to enjoy these historical healing waters. Unlike the white water of the lower pools the Antique Pool favored by Cleopatra, Queen of Egypt, is pure clear warm water. Once it was surmounted by a Roman Temple to Apollo with ornate roof held up with Doric columns. Imagine how Cleopatra must have experienced this when you imagine it in it's glory day.

You will stop at a local restaurant for your lunch.After the lunch, you will have experience traditional handcraft workshop for get lecture about the special stones/metals of Pamukkale.

Excavations here have revealed artifacts dating from 3500 BC (Late Chalcolithic) to 3000 BC (Early Bronze Age). The city’s name comes from the Seleucid king Antiochus ii, who named it for his wife Laodike in the 3rd century BC when it was thriving. Later controlled by the kings of Pergamum, it was willed to the Roman Empire, and thrived again from the 4th to 6th centuries. Its importance then numbered it among the Seven Churches of Revelation.

(The visit to this place is included only in the itinerary for the 'from-to Istanbul Hotels' option) The cave was formed over 2.5 million years ago, during the Pliocene Period. The roof collapsed, allowing entrance. The maximum depth is 14 metres and inside there are several rimstone pools and waterfalls, which are thought to be beneficial in the treatment of skin diseases and arthritis. Several of the walls receive enough sunlight to grow moss and climbing plants. The cave will take around 20 minutes to explore, with wooden walkways leading through the 190-metre circle.

At the end of the tour of Pamukkale and its surroundings, we will drop you back at the your hotel in Pamukkale or Karahayit, depending on your pick-up location. If you booked the 'from-to Istanbul Hotels' option, you will be transferred to Denizli Çardak Airport for your return flight to Istanbul.

Upon arrival at Istanbul Airport, your driver will meet you and transfer you to your hotel. Please note that this service is only included if you select the 'from-to Istanbul Hotels' option.
