Stop 1

We will pick you up from your hotel in Istanbul and then transfer to Istanbul airport for your flight to Denizli. Upon arrival Denizli/Cardak airport, your private driver will meet you at the exit gate of arrival terminal and then drive to Pamukkale Natural Park area. Afterward, you will meet with your private tour guide and you will start your full day tour. ** This service is valid for bookings to options which departure from Istanbul.

Stop 4

After visited the Hierapolis Ancient City, you will continue to the White Travertines of Pamukkale. There will be free time (approximately 75-90 minutes) to explore the natural beauties of Pamukkale and swim at the white travertines. Then meet again with the guide, start walking in the middle of travertines from up to down without shoes and socks.

After lunch, you will have experience traditional handcraft workshop for get lecture about the special stones/metals of Pamukkale.

Excavations here have revealed artifacts dating from 3500 BC (Late Chalcolithic) to 3000 BC (Early Bronze Age). The city’s name comes from the Seleucid king Antiochus ii, who named it for his wife Laodike in the 3rd century BC when it wa thriving. Later controlled by the kings of Pergamum, it was willed to the Roman Empire, and thrived again from the 4th to 6th centuries. Its importance then numbered it among the Seven Churches of Revelation.

The cave was formed over 2.5 million years ago, during the Pliocene Period. The roof collapsed, allowing entrance. The maximum depth is 14 metres and inside there are several rimstone pools and waterfalls, which are thought to be beneficial in the treatment of skin diseases and arthritis. Several of the walls receive enough sunlight to grow moss and climbing plants. The cave will take around 20 minutes to explore, with wooden walkways leading through the 190-metre circle.

At the end of the tour, we will transfer you to Denizli/Cardak airport for your flight back to Istanbul if you booked the option of "Istanbul to Istanbul". Your return flight to Istanbul and your return transfer in Istanbul will be included on this option.
