Our tours are done by local guides, which in return will help in in-depth knowledge sharing of the culture, and also you will experience the true Chagga experience. Our guide will walk with you to the Materuni waterfalls while explaining what makes Chagga people interesting. He will point out the Chagga food farming, how they live, and even what the majority love to do for fun. In terms of sightings, you will see the Materuni village, the mountain view sight of Moshi and on a good day when there is no cloud on the mountain, you will see Kilimanjaro.

Here you will see one of the tallest waterfalls in the Kilimanjaro region. From the Materuni village, we will walk for 40-50 minutes to the waterfall, you will see the village life of the people from what they farm and why they cultivate it. The waterfall itself is between 70-80 meters long. You will have an opportunity to swim at the falls, just to warn you sometimes the water can be a little bit too cold. You will have great sighting opportunities of Moshi city from above and if you are lucky you will be able to see the majestic Kilimanjaro in front of you. Then after the visit to the waterfalls, we will walk back to the village, there will visit one of the local farms to do a coffee tour where we will be taught about the history of coffee to how to make your own cup in the local traditional way.
