The day hike is a challenge that allows a client to see what kilimanjaro is all about whilst enjoying the beautiful scenery around. This hike is managable especially for people who either don't have enough time or the financial capacity to do the full hike. The trip has beautiful wildlife such as the Monkeys colobus and blue velvet, there is beautiful bird sightings and most importantly the vegetation such as the Eucalyptus trees are not something to be missed.
The trip will begin on a pick up at your hotel and drive for about an hour to the Marangu gate which is where we will begin the hike. We will hike to Mandara hut which is about 2700m and on the way we will have the opportunity to see the Maundi crater which you will be able to see the soroundings including Northen Tanzania and Kenya. After having a well packed lunch we will hike back to the park gate where we will begin our drive back to Moshi town.
