Detailed itinerary

Stop 1

Bhaktapur Durbar Square contains many showpieces of art, architecture, and historical monuments. Among them, we are going to discover some of the significant sites. We can observe a collection of pagodas and Shikhara-style temples.

One temple encompasses a 55-Window Palace made of brick and wood. This durbar square highlights the idols of ancient kings resting on top of stone monoliths. Not only that, the guardian divinities looking out from their shrines and the wood carvings seem to form a well-orchestrated symphony.

Some of the highlights of the square are the palace of 55 windows, the Golden Gate, the National Art Gallery, Nyatpole, Pottery Square, etc. Bhaktapur Darbar Square is one of the biggest palaces in Kathmandu valley and one of Nepal’s World Heritage sites. However, in the town, we see Newari people, their culture, and art crafted in the windows, doors, strouts, etc., in the daily use of the stuff.

2

Nyatapola is a five tiered temple located in the central part of Bhaktapur, Nepal. It is the tallest monument within the city and is also the tallest temple of Nepal. This temple was commissioned by King Bhupatindra Malla, the construction of which lasted for six months from December 1701 to July 1702. This one is the tallest temple of Nepal. Which is 108.26ft height.

3

Pottery square as its name means is a square full of pottery works. You can reach there within a few minutes’ walk from Bhaktapur durbar square. This square is not as big as Durbar square but is a hub to do the shopping for Nepalese handicrafts. The centre of this square always gets filled with clay wares and local grains to give them an ace finishing.

4

Nagarkot is one of the most popular tourist attraction in Nepal. Nagarkot View tower is about 2165 meters above sea level. You will have a 360-degree panorama of Himalayas. This place also famous for its views of the Himalayas and Kathmandu Valley. You can observe Mount Everest with its snow-topped peaks and an overlook tower at the very top of the village’s hills. Eight out of the 13 Himalayan ranges of mountains in Nepal, such as Annapurna, Manaslu, Ganesh Himal, Langtang, Jugal, Rolwaling, Mahalangur (Everest), Numbur can be seen from here.

The Kathmandu Valley and Shivapuri National Park will also be visible from the top. This tour package is specially designed for a day tour or interested in nature walking along with the additional day in Bhaktapur. Nagarkot and Bhaktapur day tour takes you to the beautiful and amazing village of Nagarkot to observe mesmerizing sunrise view.

Buddha peace park is one free approach destination that is carved out on the side of the Himalayan foothills, Nagarkot. It is a peaceful park, all by itself and with beautiful nature around it. The scenic beauty along with the remoteness makes it an even more desired destination.

The cold wind and the greenery that it surpasses are so pristine that it treats you to the atmosphere of living far away from the bustle of the Kathmandu valley.

The remote paths also dare to give you the challenge to hike up there. Talking about the location of the park, it lies on the way to the Nagarkot, on your left-hand side while heading toward Nagarkot.
