The religion is a hybrid of Buddhism, Taoism, Confucianism and Christianity. The Cao Dai Temple at Tay Ninh has been described as a Walt Disney fantasia of the East. The temple’s exterior is decorated with multi-colored dragons of all shapes and sizes competing for space with a number of swastikas. 07.30 – 7.45: We pick you up from your hotel then start the Cao Dai Temple Tour.
Coming here, we will attend the midday ceremony’s extravaganza to witness the daily mass held by the Cao Dai followers. We then have lunch.
13.30: Proceed to the afternoon tour to Cu Chi – the network of over 200 kilometers of tunnels became legendary when they played a vital role in the Vietnam War.
Watch a short introductory video showing how the tunnels were constructed before entering the tunnels. Spend the next hour exploring the tunnels. Afterwards, enjoy tea, cassava (guerrilla-warriors’ food in war time).
18.00: Drop you off at your hotel.
