About this experience
Discover Coimbra, one of Portugal’s most historic cities, home to one of the world’s oldest universities. After pick-up in Lisbon, we head north to explore the Mosteiro de Santa Cruz, where Portugal’s first king, Afonso Henriques, is buried. Next, we visit the Universidade de Coimbra, a UNESCO site, with its grand Biblioteca Joanina and Paço das Escolas.
