What you'll see

Kumbor is a village in the municipality of Herceg Novi, Montenegro. It is located in Boka Kotorska, 6km away from Herceg Novi. The name derives from the Italian word "conborgo", which means the suburb, because Kumbor was in the immediate vicinity of the town of Stoli.

Today, Kumbor is known as the tourist destination of the Herceg Novi Riviera. Kumbor is especially suitable for tourists because everything is between the highway and the sea. From the highway they run through dense forest, a typical coastal staircase to the coast. There are small sandy beaches, many mules and concrete beaches, and many are very nicely decorated with sun beds and cane umbrellas. A typical seaside promenade, restaurants on the coast, fine gravel beaches and a small pier adorn a resort that is never crowded and always has guests. Kumbor is said to be the locality in Montenegro with the most sunny days during the year, so the sunsets here are phenomenal. The place is extremely peaceful and ideal for families and everyone who wants to avoid the big crowds on the beaches and the noise from the cafes. However, that doesn't mean it can be boring, on the contrary.

The advantage of Kumbor may be that it is located in the middle of the Herceg Novi Riviera, so sometimes you just don't know which way to go before, whether the route of Novi and Igalo or the path of Bijela, and possibly Kotor. What will not leave anyone indifferent, and what will be remembered by everyone, are certainly trips to many interesting destinations around Kumbora.
