About this experience

The most famous Montenegrin village Njegusi is perfect opportunity to get familiar with history and tradition of Montenegro, as well to enjoy beautiful nature. You will visit family house of one of the local hosts for tasting of national product - smoked ham and cheese and homemade wine and local brandy and enjoy fresh air and beautiful scenery of the village. You will see dryer to learn how these products are prepared in traditional way. Part of our hosts home is over 100 years old and there you can see some items that were used in traditional households in this area.
To get to Njegusi village you will have scenic ride up the 25 serpentine road above Kotor. Along the way you will have few stops for sightseeing and taking photos. From the road you can see Kotor, Perast, Tivat, Herceg Novi and open sea. Guide will tell you all about the places that you can see from the road.

This is a really authentic experience because we will visit my family house in village Njegusi, where I will explain to you the the process of making prosciutto, which has a long tradition in my family. You will have the opportunity to try real domestic food and drinks. During the trip to village Njegusi, you will enjoy the beautiful view of the Bay of Kotor
