Detailed itinerary

Starting from Your meeting point, we travel through the streets of Ponta Delgada and it's Ocean Boulevard on our way to the first stop at Vista do Rei.

VISTA do REI where you’ll have the opportunity to admire one of the most well-known panoramic post cards from the Azores Islands, the above view of Sete Cidades Green and Blue Lakes.
The magnificent view of the Island second biggest volcanic crater with 5 km diameter.
Know about the historic abandoned hotel on the top of the mountain that was open for only 18 months.

Stop 3

Descending to the quiet and beautiful village of Sete Cidades, a brief stop at the bridge between the lakes before arriving in the center located in the bottom of the massive volcanic crater.
​Time for a coffee and walk on the village center and enjoy some time by the shore of the Blue lake.
An unique oportunity to have direct contact with the local people of this Paradise on Earth location.

On the way back to Ponta Delgada, one more stop at Pico do Carvão to enjoy a breathtaking view of S Miguel Island and both North and South at the same time.

The beatifull scenary of the lowest and narrowest part of S Miguel Island with the Lagoa de Fogo in the background.

From here we will learn about the formation of this Island, and on a clear day, it is possiblke to see almost the full lenght of the island with Pico da vara, the highest point on the horizon

Returning to Ponta Delgada on a serpentine road, we pass along the beautiful grass fields that provide natural food to feed our more than 100.000 black and white cows.

Arriving at Ponta Delgada, we will visit one pinneapple plantation to learn about this exclusive process of growing this King of the Fruits in a special environment, unique in the world.

After this visit, we will return to the city and we will drop you of off at a place of your choice.
