Dulikhel lies on the ancient trade route from Tibet to Nepal . The small mountain town of Dulikhel is 25 km far from Kathmandu . As being in distance from Kathmandu the place is less affected by the modernization and commercialization . And hence letting it preserve all its traditional lifestyle and culture . Once in Dulikhel you will be visiting the old market area of Dulikhel and seeing all the old houses and typical Nepalese style design in those houses with decorated windows . Apart from the old market you will also be seeing the beautiful panoramic view of the Himalayas from east to west .
A small old town of Panauti still have those traditions, culture from the past. Panauti is one the oldest town as far as from the 12th century. The architecture at Panauti are mostly from 12th century and there lots of tales related with Panauti which is quite interesting to hear .During 2015 earthquake Panauti was the less effected area beacause Panauti is based on a rock .
