8:00 - 8:30 AM – Pick-up from Hotel in Ho Chi Minh City
Our guide will pick you up at your hotel in District 1 and depart for My Tho, a peaceful town located about 1.5 hours from the city.
10:00 AM – Visit Vinh Trang Pagoda
Upon arrival in My Tho, we’ll stop at Vinh Trang Pagoda, a famous Buddhist temple known for its impressive architecture and large Buddha statues.
10:45 AM – Boat Trip on the Mekong River
Board a motorized boat to cruise along the Mekong River. Enjoy the scenic view of stilt houses, fruit plantations, and local fishing villages along the riverbank.
12:00 AM – Visit Unicorn Island
Disembark at Unicorn Island to explore local life. Walk along peaceful village paths, visit a local honey bee farm, and enjoy honey tea with tropical fruits while listening to traditional Southern Vietnamese folk music ("Đờn ca tài tử").
12:30 PM – Traditional Vietnamese Lunch
Enjoy a delicious lunch at a local riverside restaurant, featuring traditional Mekong Delta dishes such as elephant ear fish, spring rolls, and more.
1:30 PM – Hand-rowing Sampan Ride
Take a relaxing ride on a hand-rowed sampan through narrow canals lined with water coconut trees – a highlight of the Mekong Delta experience.
2:30 PM – Coconut Candy Workshop
Visit a small local workshop to see how coconut candy is made and try some freshly made sweets.
3:00 PM – Return to My Tho and Head Back to HCMC
Return to the boat and cruise back to the dock. Then board the bus for your return trip to Ho Chi Minh City.
5:00 – 5:30 PM – Drop-off at Your Hotel
Arrive back in Ho Chi Minh City. End of the tour.
