About this experience
Staying with a local family in Kathmandu offers a unique taste of Nepalese culture and hospitality. Upon arrival, you'll be greeted with a traditional flower garland, a warm welcome into our home. After checking in, take a moment to refresh before exploring the surroundings, including a vegetable garden. Enjoy the tranquility of the area, boasting excellent views of downtown and the Himalayas to the north. It's a peaceful spot with fresh air, away from the crowds. The nighttime cityscape is stunning, and you'll wake up to a beautiful sunrise over the northern Himalayas, featuring peaks like Mt. Everest, Gauri Shanker, Dorje Lakpa, Langtang, Ganesh, and Annapurna. Conclude your stay with a delicious breakfast prepared by the house mother before departing for your next destination.

What you'll see
You will be picked up from Thamel or Nepal airport and transfer to home. You will be welcomed with Nepalese culture (Flower garland). Take a rest and later explore our vegetable garden. Take our for a small excursion to explore the local village. Later join a cooking Nepali meal (rice, seasonal vegetable, meat, pickle, dal soup, spinach, with house mother and join the family dine together. You will experience how Nepali people cook how is the family structure and type of meal. Our house offer a excellent view to down town. Setting sun in the Himalaya seen amazing.
The following day wake up before sunrise. Enjoy the sunrise and Himalayan view. Take a small walk around. The house mother will prepare the breakfast and later depart to your next destination.
