Stop 1

After pick up from accommodation we will take you to buy the temple pass then heading to the ancient city of Angkor Thom by South Gate. Inside of angkor thom you will get visit 49 tower of bayon temple with smiling four faces.

The nearby Bayon temple is called Baphoun which is a Hindu temple built before Angkor Wat in 11st Century. The big Reclining Buddha behind it was built in 16th Century & we continue to Royal Enclosure Wall.

Terrace of the Elephants is the platform was ever used by many kings to view victorious returning army and it has many pictures of elephants carving on the wall of the platform.

Thommanon temple is about 500 meters east of the Victory Gate. A temple dedicated to Brahmanism, it was built in the late 11th and" early 12th centuries by King Suryavarman II.

Phimeanakas is the pyramid Hindu temple built in 10 Century and located in the center of the old Royal Palace of Angkor Thom so we can visit Phimeanakas altogether with ancient Royal Enclosure Wall.

Chau Say Tevoda temple is about 500 meters east of the Victory Gate. A temple dedicated to Brahmanism, it was built in the late 11th and" early 12th centuries by King Suryavarman II.

Takeo Temple is a pyramid of five levels reaching a total height of 40m - the first two forms the base of two enclosing courtyards, one surrounded by a simple wall and the other by a gallery, while the last three, through proportional reduction are a massive artificial plinth for the quincunx of sanctuaries. Takeo was also the first temple which was built with the biggest blocks of sandstone in Angkor time. This temple was dedicated to Shiva. This temple construction has never been finished and it has very few carvings as the king was murdered by Suryavarman I who was his uncle.
