About this experience

Guests get to kayak out into the La Jolla Ecological Reserve with trained professional guides to take them to various snorkel sports in the La Jolla Ecological Reserve (spot depends on safety and may change depending on the day.)

Once the group arrivals at chosen snorkel spot, the guides will till all of the kayaks together with rope and drop a sea anchor, so the kayaks are stationary, and the guests get to hop out and snorkel in the majestic waters of the La Jolla Ecological Reserve. After the snorkeling portion, guests kayak back to the launching point. Entire duration last two hours.

No snorkel experience necessary but preferred. Must be a comfortable swimmer in the ocean to participate.

Our guided kayak tours are amazing and so are our snorkel tours. Combine them and you have one of the most amazing sea experiences in the world. Your experienced guide will drop anchor and lead you through the beautiful waters to interact with the amazing sea life inhabiting the area. Playful sea lions sunbathing and barking jump in and swim around you, looking like submarines. Garibaldi nearly as bright as the sun will delight your eyes and your underwater cameras. *This tour does not enter into any of the sea caves. If you are interested in going into the sea caves, please book our La Jolla Cove Sea Cave Kayak Tour.

* All Participants must be a comfortable swimmer in order to participate in this experience. Refunds will not be given if guests are not able to swim adequately on the day of the activity.

* Check-in is 30 minutes early before reservation time. (Most Important, please be on time.)

Check-in is 30 minutes prior to reservation time. Most important thing is to arrive on time as we need to fit each guest with the proper equipment (Snorkel, Mask, and Fins.)

Guests need extra time if they are renting wetsuits (not included in ticket price, available for $12.00 per person, per wetuit and can be handled at check 30 minutes prior to reservation time.)

Tours will be on the water at the reservation time. Guests who arrive late will miss the experience and will not be refunded.

All guests need to check-in with front desk staff and will be subject to 12% Kayak Concession Fee 12% paid prior to experience / upon arrival.
