Join us for a unique, private adventure of La Jolla, with a guided tour in a motorcycle sidecar! Learn about the past & present of “the Jewel”, cruising the coast lazily in style!

It's safe, it's fun, & it's an unforgettable experience of a lifetime!

With Pegasus Sidecar Tours, your private driver and guide will take you on a tour around the beautiful La Jolla area in our top-of-the-line 3-person sidecar rigs. This means 2 passengers can sit in the sidecar, and a third behind your personal driver and guide. Our helmets are equipped with industry leading SENA communication system offering 4-person HD audio connectivity, so you can talk directly with one another & with the guide during the entire tour.

Come with us on a slow-paced stroll through magnificent La Jolla. See why this gorgeous piece of ocean and earth has been named “The Jewel”, and enjoy magnificent views of the Pacific Ocean the entire tour.

Starting from the north part of La Jolla, the tour will introduce you to the sublime Mormon Temple and the gorgeous University of California San Diego (UCSD) campus.

Stop 2

From there, we will head to Torrey Pines Glide Port where paragliders can be observed as they take off and land from atop the 400 foot cliffs. Below the cliffs is Black’s beach, what was the country’s first nudist beach which it remains to this day.

The next stop is the La Jolla Shores Beach & Scripps Pier, where surfers ride the waves year-round.

We then head uphill to the Veterans’ Memorial, located at the highest point of the whole city, on top of Mt. Soledad with nearly 360 degree view of the entire surrounding area. Next, we descend down through some seriously fancy neighborhoods and beautiful mansions to arrive at one of our favorite little hidden beaches even locals seldom know about.

After a visit to the La Jolla Cove near the secret smuggler’s cave, the tour concludes in downtown La Jolla, where you have the chance to observe hundreds of sea lions basking in the sun, and enjoy the culinary and cultural offerings of this true jewel of a city.
