Our equipment is constantly upgraded to provide a safe experience for all guests.
Our kayak rentals give you 90 minutes to cruise around the La Jolla Ecological Reserve at your own pace. We’ll provide all the equipment you’ll need, along with a safety briefing so you know where you can and can’t go. You’ll just need to check in at our shop 30 minutes prior to your reservation time, and kayaks and paddles will be waiting for you at the beach!
Guests may see a variety of marine life while kayaking around the ecological reserve. You might see different kinds of fish, birds, seals, sea lions, dolphins and even whales (depending on the time of year.) You will also get to see the beautiful town of La Jolla from the water, and take the amazing scenery!
If you’ve never kayaked on your own before, we recommend you check out our guided tours first.
Kayak Rentals are NOT permitted into the Sea Caves. All guests must be able to swim comfortably in order to take a kayak out on their own. All participants must be five years or older in order to participate in activity.
