Explore the beautiful city of Guangzhou by joining this award-winning 4-hour cycle tour! We take you off-the-beaten track and bring you on an authentic experience from Old to New Canton: from the traditional and historic neighborhoods, to the shiny skyscrapers of modern China. On this leisurely ride, you visit historic buildings, a family temple, Kungfu studio, traditional market, People's Park, Beijing Road, the Pearl River, and the Canton Tower, Opera House and other modern skyscrapers of new town.
Ride our classic 'Phoenix' bicycles, which give you the feel of the old China. But don't worry, we improved the brakes, added a comfortable seat and did other modifications for your safety and convenience.
Meet the friendly locals and experience the contrasts of contemporary urban China. Our professional and fun guides, small groups, a route almost entirely away from traffic and a slow pace of riding on flat terrain, will make this a highlight of your trip to China!

You'll find your guide at the terrace of Happy Monk cafe/restaurant in Taojin, on No. 29 Jianshe 5 Malu (建设五马路29号 - 宜安广场后面).
***Please note there are several Happy Monks around town, so you find the correct one***. The Happy Monk we meet at is near the Taojin metro station on (red) line 5. For more details, check www.cyclecanton.com/en/instructions. In DiDi it's the 'Jianwu Shop', in Apple Maps the 'Jianwu Branch'.

When you arrive, look out for someone wearing a Cycle Canton shirt, or ask Happy Monk staff. We'll start the tour with an introduction at the terrace, so don't hesitate to walk onto the balcony and take a seat. You are not required to consume a drink.

Rain or shine, our tours are always on. We provide a rain coat, take shelter if it pours, and can adjust the schedule to accommodate to your wishes.
