Known as the only primeval mangrove forest in Hue city, Ru Cha deserves to be the most unique tourist place in Hue city. It was surrounded by Tam Giang Lagoon – one of the biggest Lagoons in Viet Nam. Ru Cha was named after the typical trees here which grew along the lagoon aiming to prevent salt water intrusion. In autumn, all Cha leaves turn yellow which makes the natural landscapes here more beautiful and stunning.
In the middle of Ru Cha, there’s a temple, a gazebo for sightseeing, and the only house living there for taking care of the forest.
Especially, there are many “Cong” Caves on the ground with different shapes which are really weird and interesting.

Only when standing in the gazebo, can visitors see the whole view of Tam Giang Lagoon – the largest lagoon in the South East Asia region. Harmonizing yourself with nature will bring you an unforgettable feeling ever.
