Maestra Isis Rodriguez is a world renown and internationally recognized artist with a B.F.A in painting and has been teaching for over 20 years and has lived in Mexico for 20 years.

Her art classes are one of the few in San Miguel that blends art with culture, structured under the spiritual philosophy of "nepantla", a 16th Century Nahua word that means "in the middle of things". Models and reference materials are indigenous to this region and students are given oral art and cultural history lectures, introduction to contemporary Mexican and Latin American modern music while working. Beginners and all levels welcomed.

This 4 Day Mexican Art Class is an intensive class that can explore different mediums, drawing, pastel, watercolor, and oils. All styles from realistic to abstract can be explored. Live models are available if reserved 1 week in advance and for an extra $50.00usd.
