Roskilde Cathedral is a large brick Gothic-style basilica with aisles, two spires and a semi-circular gallery inside. Located on a small hilltop overlooking Roskilde Fjord, the cathedral is a very important landmark.

It's not just a beautiful meadow on the edge of town. It's a stretch of vast Byparken Park, which stretches all the way from Roskilde Fjord itself. In this area is the ruin of the church of Sankt Hans Kirke, destroyed during the 1711 plague.
