It is the only outdoor space in the world with 23 statues by Maestro Fernando Botero, donated to the town in 2002. It would be an excellent excuse to develop and implement Sculpture Square, or Botero Square, as it is known in Medellin. It is a beautiful cathedral in the city of Medellin with a lovely facade. It is best seen from the plaza in front. Our visit was not open. But that doesn't stop us from admiring it from the outside. It is such a beautiful building.
