Crossing the perfume river which lies in the middle of Hue city is Truong Tien bridge, a design of architect Gustave Eiffel, who designed the famous Eiffel Tower in Paris . Constructed in 1897 (the ninth year of Thanh Thai dynasty) with Gothic architecture,
The bridge has a length of 402.6 m, a width of 6 meters, including 6 spans of steel girder shaped like a comb, each span is 67 meters long.

Witnessing many up and down of the old capital, Truong Tien Bridge is a popular historical site of Hue city
Although the bridge had various names in different periods of history, the name Truong Tien Bridge (which because the bridge was near the coin-molding construction site, referred to as Truong Tien of Nguyen Dynasty and Truong Tien Street founded by Emperor Thanh Thai in 1899) is still the most familiar name for all people. The History of Dong Ba market :
Built in the time of Gia Long king ( 1802-1820), Dong Ba market was first located in the east side of royal citadel. In 1885, the market was totally destroyed by French and until 1887, it was rebuilt by Dong Khanh king. In 1899, Thanh Thai king moved it to the south of royal citadel, which is the location of the market today. You can try' bún thit nướng or nem lụi'' here. it is very delicious
