After hotel pickup, you will visit the first museum of today - Guangdong Museum. There are many great exhibits at the museum with a concentration on Guangdong history and artifacts.
Next, you will be transferred to Yuexiu Park and visit the Guangzhou Museum within Zhenhai Tower located on Mount Yuexiu. There are interesting exhibits on each of the Tower's five floors tracing the history of the city. Artifacts, pictures of the city over the years, clothes, and art works. You can learn a lot about the history of the city and of southern China. Plus, you can enjoy a nice view of city skyline when you get to the top floor.
Drive to Guangdong Museum of Art, a relatively small, modern art museum that hosts excellent temporary exhibits. Outside is a beautiful sculpture park.
Proceed to the Cantonese Opera Art Museum which is a gem of the location. Delve into the museum with displays of fascinating costumes, musical instruments, records, and videos of performances.
Your last destination is the museum of Nanyue King. Immerse yourself in the history of a dynasty that is over 2000 years old. You can also visit the actual burial site of the ancient king beneath the museum with lots of remarkable relics associated to the burial. Tour ends with a drop-off at your hotel.
