About this experience

We will visit and explore the holy temples in Yogyakarta and central Java with speaking english driver. The driver will pick you up at your hotel or any other places in Yogyakarta then we will visit Borobudur as a biggest budhist temple in the world after that we will continue to Mendut temple and budhist monastery, in Mendut temple we can see 3 biggest budha statues in java island then we continue to Prambanan temple as a biggest hindu temple in Indonesia. This is a private tour and we are not sharing with the other group so that travelers will enjoy more the tour and do the activities freely. We usually use alternatives roads to visit one place to the other places so that travelers will see more Javanese culture, rice fields, villages, local market also we can stop to see and try our local food and snack on the street in order to have an unforgetable moment and experience while touring with us.

We will visit the biggest Buddhist temple of the world, in Borobudur we will wear a bracelet with a barcode, wearing special slippers to climb up the temple, put our shoes in the small hand bag and following a local guide during the tour.

Borobudur has 10 terraces, 7 terraces are squares and 3 terraces are rounds and on the top of the temple, we can see a big stupa, the symbol of perfection or Nirvana. The temple is on the hill, the hill is artificial and it is not natural so they built a hill first then a temple so inside the temple is a land. In the temple we can see 504 statues of budha, most of them are broken and without head.

Each floor has different stories, such as the story of Karmawipangha, Lalita vistara, Jataka and many more. Many beautiful photo spots on the temple, from the top of the temple we can see beautiful view of the village, hills and mountains. It is interesting place to visit and explore

Stop 2

We will visit the biggest hindu temple in Indonesia, in the same place we can see 240 temples and ruins of the temple. In Prambanan temple, we can see and climb up to the main temples those are Shiva, Brahma and Wisnu. In the north side of Prambanan, we can visit Lumbung, Bubrah and Sewu temple, those are Buddhist temple but in the same complex with Prambanan. It is an interesting place to visit and explore

we start in early morning and going to punthuk setumbu hill to see the sunrise with background of merapi volcano and borobudur temple

explore the volcano with jeep 4x4, we will visit volcano museum, the lost world park, the bunker and the river
