Join Fraser Island Boat Charters for a private day skippered charter along the beautiful waters of the Fraser Coast!
Departing from Hervey Bay, we’ll set sail across the Great Sandy Strait and anchor at spots like Pelican Bank and Big Woody Island and cruise along the coast of World Heritage-listed K’gari [Fraser Island] where you'll be treated to breathtaking sunsets.

This experience is fully skippered and perfect for birthday parties, business functions, a private experience for couples or just a fun day out with mates. This is a completely private charter so you will have the vessel to yourselves with those in your group + the skipper.

We offer both catered and BYO food and drink options and can take a maximum of 12 people for the full day.

Add an inflatable pontoon for some extra fun on your day charter! It acts as an additional back deck area to relax and when the middle insert is removed, it doubles as a netted swimming area.

Detailed itinerary

Pelican Bank is a beautiful little sand island situated between Hervey bay and Fraser Island. This remote island stop is known for its white silica sands and crystal clear waters. It's the perfect place to enjoy a picnic, have a swim or enjoy some bird watching - maybe even a spot of fishing as well!

Located just off Hervey Bay, this historical gem allows you to explore spots like Jeffrey's Beach and the Middle Bluff Lighthouse (which was one of two identical lighthouses in 1866 to enable ships to enter the Hervey Bay area at night).

Make sure you have the camera ready after your short hike up the hill because the Middle Bluff Lighthouse also provides incredible views of the Great Sandy Strait across to K'gari [Fraser Island].

Stop 3

Kingfisher Bay anchorage offers charterers the option to enjoy a meal or cocktail at one of the many restaurants located here. You can also enjoy a stroll along the jetty and enjoy spotting some marine life as you go.
