During this tour you will discover all fortification types built by the Transylvanian Saxons for defending the region against invading forces. The Bran Castle is the most popular tourist landmark in Romania. A guided your of the castle and the inner and outer courtyards are included. The Rasnov Citadel is another famous type of Transylvanian defensive structures. Last but not least the fortified church is a traditional icon for all villages of the region. Harman is one of the nicest. On top of that we also added the Peles Castle on the bucket-list which is one of the most impressive royal castles in Europe.
