We start the tour with visit to Monastery Dajbabe, made by man and nature together. This specific religious place is an adapted cave, made in rocks in shape of cross.
After visiting the secret Monastery Dajbabe we will make the parallel between old and new sacral symbol of Podgorica, Sabornog Hrama Hristovog Vaskrsenja, (Gathering church of Christ’s resurrection) Unique in its monument and architecture. It took 20 years to be completely finished with techniques which were not in use for 8 centuries.
We continue our trip to Danilovgrad where we will visit Ždrebaonik Monastery - hero among monasteries which was burnt and demolished in each war that occurred at this area, but it still stands proudly in all its beauty. This woman monastery consists of library, dormitories and the place where nuns make icons and souvenirs.
Only adequate ending of this day in which centuries are presented, can give only one of the most visited pilgrimage place on Balkan. Place which is believed to be the one where miracles really happen! It is carved in steep rocks; on unbelievable 900m above sea level Monastery Ostrog is situated. This monastery is overloaded with religious people of all religions, because of healing and spiritual changes it wakes in visitors.
