You must show up at Guatemala City La Aurora Airport 2 hours before your flight.
Approximately you must report at 04:00 am.

When you make your reservation we will proceed to send you your air ticket via WhatsApp on the airline TAG or AVIANCA.

When you arrive at Mundo Maya Airport, a representative of our company will be waiting for you with a sign with your name so you can identify us.

Being at the airport you will have time for breakfast or coffee if you wish.

En route to stunning Tikal we make a small stop of about 10 minutes to appreciate Lake Petén Itzá, and the mountain of Cahui Hill.
A beautiful view that you cannot miss.

We will start our walk of approximately 4 hours, with time to know the highlights of the spectacular City of Tikal, you will walk along Mayan paths and causeways and at the same time you can appreciate many birds and animals very close to you.

The Tikal archaeological site has about 5,000 pre-Hispanic buildings in an area of approximately 16 km2, of which only 15% is restored and enabled for exploration. The area of Tikal covers approximately 576 km2, most of which have not yet been cleared, mapped or excavated.

Stop 5

You will appreciate the Temple of the Great Jaguar, also known as Temple I, icon of all Guatemala, has 45 meters high, below said temple was found the richest burial in all Guatemala, a tomb with 16 pounds of Jade, offerings such as sea shells, carved human bones, etc.

At the other end is Temple Number II or Temple of Masks, is 38 meters high and was built in honor of the wife of Ruler Ak Cacao or Lord Chocolate who built temple number I.

To the north, there are 16 religious or ceremonial temples that are allowed to explore.

To the South Direction, several elongated buildings are believed to have been the residential and administrative area for the royals.

The last massive structure built in Tikal for 810 AD, it has two quarters on top, fully aligned with temple I for equinoxes.

Stop 7

Tikal’s largest structure at 70 meters high, which has served as many settings for filming with the most outstanding being the Star Wars film.

It can be accessed with a wooden staircase in the form of a zig zag, once being above you will be able to observe the whole city of Tikal, surrounded by vegetation.

Stop 8

In our program is designed to visit a very important part of the City of Tikal Lost World, was the astronomical center where the Mayan marked the winter and summer seasons, being able to know with complete precision the rainy months and the summer months.

Our guide will tell you about the calendars, Lunar and Solar, also the tools that I possibly use the Mayan to observe the sky and see the stars.
The Lost World pyramid can be climbed features 32 meters high, a 360 panoramic view all over Tikal.

After our visit to Tikal, we will have lunch at one of the best restaurants in the area.

After lunch departure for Isla de Flores.

When you return from Tikal we will take you to know the beautiful island of Flores with free time so you can explore on your own.

At approximately 6 pm transfer Flores to Mundo Maya Airport to catch your flight back to Guatemala City.
