Detailed itinerary

1

Pico do Areeiro is something indescribable, a mountain that rises above sea level to 1818 meters high. One of the best views of Madeira Island. It all depends on the weather, sometimes it is cloudy. We have the 4 seasons in just one day. But we have unique moments when we can be above the clouds..
Ps. Don't forget to bring warm clothes

2
Stop 2

Santana is a prominent place and a must-see. It is in this village that you will find the triangular houses with their roofs made of wheat straw. These houses date back to the beginnings of the first colonization of Madeira Island between the 15th and 16th centuries. There are now very few of them and the houses that exist are kept in an excellent state of conservation. Mr. Manuel's House is a perfect example and the visit is free.

3

Arco de São Jorge is a viewpoint with a superb view over the North Coast of Madeira Island. The green of the slope is something that catches our attention. The houses built on the slope are a challenge that in the past was possible with much sacrifice on the part of the locals. When visibility allows it, we can see Porto Santo Island in the background, which belongs to the Madeira Island Archipelago.

4

Ribeira da Janela is undoubtedly a must-see. In the sea, we have a large rock that emerges from the ocean floor and leaves no one indifferent to its rocky and geological formation. It was here that, in March 2023, Madeira Island was chosen to be the setting for the filming of Star Wars. Something epic for locals and visitors alike. You'll love it. OMG.

5
Stop 5

Porto Moniz, our Pearl, is one of the most visited attractions in recent times. This village, bathed by the Atlantic Ocean with temperate waters, is a must-see for those who love swimming in these clear, translucent waters. Access is not included and costs 3 euros per person. There is the possibility of stopping for something to eat.

6
Stop 6

Cabo Girão is one of the highest headlands in Europe. Its elevation of 580 meters stands out for its great attraction, the glass floor. It is something that is out of the ordinary... This stop is a Must.
