This full day private tour will begin with a visit to the UNESCO-listed city of Évora in 1986. Évora is considered a museum city with its roots dating back to Roman times. There are many examples of the remains of Roman civilization that remain intact throughout the city. The golden age was in the 16th century, when it was the residence of Portuguese kings.
Afterwards, you will proceed to the medieval village of Monsaraz, protected by its walls is a small village, with its schist streets and whitewashed walls. With narrow streets and nooks and crannies, it has a breathtaking view of the Alentejo landscape and the Alqueva reservoir.
Finally, this tour includes a visit to a winery in the region (Herdade do Esporão or Quinta da Cartuxa), where you will visit and know the entire process of wine production in this region of the Alentejo, and finally have a wine tasting.
