Get picked up at your hotel in Lisbon by your private guide and take off towards the town of Fátima in a comfortable private car. Once a sleepy countryside village, Fátima became famous in 1917 when three small children saw apparitions of the Virgin Mary; since then it has become an important pilgrimage site for Catholics across Europe.

Stop 2

We start our day doing all your religious and souvenir shopping in a quick stop at Fatima's shopping center. Then proceed to the Shrine: The Chapel of Apparitions and the Basilica of the Holy Trinity are different places of worship within in the Sanctuary and allow visitors to tour. Don’t miss the Basilica of Our Lady of the Rosary, which holds the tombs of the now-deceased children who witnessed the apparition - Saint Francisco Marto, Saint Jacinta Marto and sister Lucia.
