About this experience

We’re a family run smaller boat. The best thing about The Mermaid is you will leave your day out at sea with unique experience rather than beginning just a number. You will be personally greeted by the captain upon boarding. Since we’re a smaller boat we enter inside the caves at no extra charge (weather dependent). You’re able to view the caves & take pictures. We’re all about customer experience aboard the Mermaid and we will do our utmost to ensure you enjoy your day out at sea and make sure it’s the highlight of your holiday!

Detailed itinerary

Boarding begins at L-Menqa Jetty 30 minutes before departure time, we depart sharp from the beautiful seaside town of Bugibba.

Sets out for the full day cruise. Cruising up to the first stop you will have a spectacular views of the stunning Maltese coastline. We are a smaller boat which means you will be able to enter into the caves at no extra charge. and will have the opportunity to take pictures. Your first stop will be at the famous Blue Lagoon Comino. You can swim, snorkel & dive into the crystal clear waters of the Mediterranean Sea. Once docked at Comino you can dive and jump from the boat. Or how about discovering the land of Comino by foot. For lunch there is a snack bar onboard where you can purchase food and drink and toilet facilities are available.

The second stop is at Mgarr Harbour, Gozo. As the boats cruises into the harbour we recommend you have your cameras at the ready to take pictures of the breath taking Island of Gozo. There will be a bus waiting for you to explore the Capital City of Gozo, Victoria. You can check out the Victoria Markets, or the Cittadella 15th Century or enjoy a bite to eat at the local Gozitan restaurants. Have fun exploring and immersing yourself in the Gozitan culture. After roughly 2 hours you will then return back to the harbour to continue your boat cruise. On the way back down to Malta the boat cruises to view the caves in either St Marys caves or Crystal Lagoon caves (weather dependent).
