About this experience
A great chance to learn more about Ria Formosa and see the barrier islands that surround it. In this tour, a biologist will provide information about the natural park, its fauna and traditions! We head to the islands, where you will be able to see and visit Culatra Island and Deserta Island, as well as the Southernmost point of Portugal mainland - Cabo de Santa Maria.
The tour includes 2 stops: one in Deserta Island (perfect for a swim) and the second one in Culatra island!

Departing from Faro, you will be able to enjoy an interpretative guided tour by marine biologists along Ria Formosa Natural Park while we cruise towards the Islands. We make 2 stops at 2 different islands (Deserta and Culatra)
During this trip, you can expect to see some wildlife such as birds and eventually some emblematic species such as chameleons (Chamaeleo chamaeleon) or just relax at the beach.
After the stop, we will return to Faro while you can appreciate the view and the ride.

Culatra is a fisherman village in the heart of Ria Formosa. You will have time to explore this genuine local island in our second stop.
