Detailed itinerary

From the pier (or your selected starting point) we drive to the Medieval City (World Heritage Site) where you can get your pictures from outside of the most important Gates.

A) According to a new traffic regulation no cars enter the Old Town, only pedestrians. We can finish the tour later at a gate of the Old Town, so you can visit it on your own and walk back to the ship. From the Medieval City to the Cruise Port is 5min flat walk. This way you save time and money, as you don’t have to pay the driver (waiting-time)

B) No stress, our knowledgeable drivers can show you how to walk via the Old Town back to the ship (just talk to your driver)

From the pier (or your selected starting point) we drive to Mandraki Old Harbor, where according to the tradition, the Colossus of Rhodes once stood - One of the seven wonders of the ancient world.

Close to the entrance of the Old Port "Mandraki" is the Church of the Annunciation - Medieval Catholic Design - today it is the Orthodox town’s cathedral, with amazing wall paintings and impressive chandeliers

Stop 4

We drive to Monte Smith Hill (Acropolis of Rhodes Town) on the way you see the North Point of the Island where the Mediterranean and the Aegean Sea meet.
Once we reach the Acropolis (with the car no climb) we stop at a vantage point for a 360 Panoramic View of Rhodes Town and both East and West Coast - Scenic.
We continue for photos from a distance of the Temple of Apollo, and the Ancient Stadium.

On the way back from Lindos, you can choose an optional short stop at a pottery workshop where the famous traditional pottery of Rhodes is made. You can see the wonderful pieces of art, and watch the potter working at his wheel. You can even learn the mystery of the Pythagorean cup.

Stop 6 Pass by

On the way to Lindos you'll have a chance to see Tsambika beach, sandy smooth beach with crystal clear waters

Stop 7

On the way to Lindos we stop at a vantage point for a panoramic picture from a distance of Lindos Beach. Wonderful white sand, flat calm seas and great beach side. The beach is overlooked by the beautiful acropolis. From the same point you can get your panoramic photos of the White Village and Acropolis of Lindos

Stop 8

On the way back you continue to the south of Lindos, to St. Paul ‘s Bay, where the apostle is said to have landed in the year 51 AD to preach Christianity to the Rhodians. From this point you can also view the cave where the film “The Guns of Navarone” was filmed - scenic

Stop 9

Walk through Lindos Village and up the many steps and narrow uphill cobblestone pathways to the summit of the Acropolis to see the magnificent remains of past civilizations and enjoy the 360 panoramic view. Total Time in Lindos is 1 hour and 10 min. In case you need more time in Lindos please let us know, so we can modify the tour. (You can skip the climb to Acropolis)
LINDOS ACROPOLIS E-TICKET SYSTEM
At Lindos Acropolis, entry is restricted to specific time slots covered by the e-ticket system. Typically, visitors reach Lindos village approximately 2.5 hours after the tour begins, with an additional 15-minute ascent to the acropolis.
You can buy online in advance, or few hours before your visit, or once you are in Lindos village before ascending to the acropolis
The tickets are non-refundable

Stop 10

We drive into the Village of Lindos at the main square so you can:

Option A) To walk the alleys of Lindos and climb up the Acropolis or ride the donkeys

Option B) Just explore the white village, walk the alleys of Lindos (not climb up to acropolis) Your driver can show you the acropolis from vantage points and you get your photos from a distance. This way you skip the crowds save time and have more time to explore the white village. Just talk to your driver

You have one hour to spend in Lindos (village and Acropolis) In case you need more time please let us know on time of booking so we can modify the tour to your needs

A break for Delicious Snack or Lunch Experience (At your own expense) at Haraki seaside village at the Mediterranean Sea right on the water’s edge, with fresh seafood / Greek cuisine and excellent local wines. Scenic.

At the beginning and at the end of the tourist season, we may change the restaurant at the sea with a traditional Greek restaurant
(traditional Greek restaurant is from November to end of April)

Monte Filerimos - Ancient Acropolis of Ialyssos. Panoramic view of the West Coast - with the car, no climb. You also visit the Monastery and the Church of “Our Lady of Filerimos”, (Entrance fee 6 Euros per person - Optional Visit)
And the 16 meter / 48 feet imposing concrete cross which standing in the middle of the small square. You can even climb up the cross and take in the view from the arms.

And through Ixia, back to Rhodes Old City for independent browsing, or to the ship (or to your hotel). The Medieval City is a 10 min flat walk from the cruise port
