Detailed itinerary

1
Stop 1

Explore the Cu Chi Tunnels!
Your private, English-speaking guide will be waiting for you at your port to greet you with a welcome sign and a big smile. Get comfortable in your air-conditioned transport as we make our way to our first stop – the impressive labyrinth of war tunnels, also known as the Cu Chi Tunnels. Experience how Viet Cong fighters used ingenious techniques to remain safe during the war, and even opt to walk through the tunnels yourself to witness the impressive network, including the secret underground kitchen. The tunnels are a fascinating insight into the creative spirit and endurance of the Viet Cong during the war.

2

Visit A Rubber Tapping Facility
Prior to returning to the busy streets of Saigon, we will make a stop at a rubber plantation to learn about the history of rubber tree cultivation in Vietnam. Your tour guide will provide insights into the local people’s daily work on the plantation, including their rubber tapping, collection, and production techniques. Vietnam is the third-biggest producer of natural rubber in the world, and this stop allows you the emblematic experience of witnessing the removal of latex from inside a rubber tree. Then, we will drive to HCMC for a tasty, simple lunch (included) such as famous Pho or Banh Mi to fuel up before seeing the city highlights.

Stop 3

Next Stop, War Remnants Museum
The War Remnants Museum is a powerful reminder of the horrors of war and the impact it can have on an entire nation. Get access to unique footage of the war from a different perspective and discover the turbulence and destruction the Vietnamese suffered and subsequently overcame. Although some scenes are upsetting, this museum offers a fantastic insight into the perseverance and determination of the Vietnamese. You will be guaranteed to leave with a newfound appreciation of this stunning and storied country.
