Tarangire is the least visited of the parks along Tanzania's northern circuit, and it's a crying shame. The park's large elephant population, iconic Baobab trees, and diversity of wildlife make it one of the best parks in the country for taking breathtaking photos or simply basking in the beauty of the world's largest land mammals.
Game drives through Tarangire are particularly thrilling during the dry season when the animals of the park must cluster closer and closer to the Tarangire River. This offers a great opportunity to see plenty of animals in one place and to witness the predator-prey relationship in action.

Stop 1
Upon your arrival at Arusha, our tour guide driver will be there to meet and welcome you. We start the beautiful journey to Tarangire National Park and prepare for a game drive when we arrive. Marvel at the vast number of elephant herds while enjoying a packed lunch in the park. Once we finish the game drive, we return to Arusha, where the safari ends.
Tarangire National Park is famous for its large population of elephants and offers unparalleled game viewing, especially during the dry season when elephants abound. Experience nature while observing the ability of animals and people living peacefully side-by-side, as the local Masai community demonstrates.
