Named the ‘plain where ten thousand people can sit’ by a Ryukyu king. Enjoy the contrast of the blue sea and the steep cliff. The impressive “Elephant Rock” is a must-see!

It’s like the entrance to another world! With brick buildings reminiscent of ancient ruins and subtropical flowers and fruits such as orchids blooming all year round, the garden is truly a tropical paradise. The 36m-tall symbolic tower observation deck offers a panoramic view of the blue ocean. We’ll take you to hidden gems beyond just Churaumi Aquarium!

The highlight is the whale sharks and manta rays in one of the world’s largest tanks! There are many other things to see, including cute dolphin shows; the Tropical Dream Center with many subtropical flowers (admission charged); the Oceanic Culture Museum with a Planetarium (admission charged); and a Native Okinawan Village, a reproduction of a village from the time of the Ryukyu Kingdom. Last summer (2021), sea turtles hatched some babies and manatees had baby boy too! Please stop by at the “Sea Turtle Pool” and “Manatee Pool” respectively to see them!
