We are the highest rated kayak tour company, as well as the most affordable tour company, in Door County. We are local, born and raised in sunny Jacksonport, and we hire responsible, professional guides, and take care of you from the moment you walk in the shop til the time you get back in your car. We do not abandon you on the Lake, we teach our guides to not only provide you with a safe, reliable, fun trip, but also knowledgable about the local ecology of the area. With breathtaking views of both Whitefish Dunes State Park, and Cave Point County Park, this tour is a great way to see a different perspective that from onshore.
Whitefish Dunes State Park protects the fragile dune environment on the eastern Door County Peninsula. Kayak along Lake Michigan and spot your favorite trail to hike after your tour, the trails run throughout the huge sand dunes and forest. A nature center features year-round programs, exhibits and displays. The park's reservable picnic shelter overlooks Lake Michigan and is adjacent to the nature center, beach and hiking trails
Cave Point County Park is perhaps the most iconic natural landscape in all of Door County. Revered by divers, photographers, swimmers, hikers, and all who visit, the beautifully carved rock faces lining the blue waters of Lake Michigan are quintessentially Door County. While not a state or national park, Cave Point has no shortage of majesty. Local county officials preserve the park, offering free admission to the picnic areas, trails, and spectacular views just up the beach from Whitefish Dunes State Park. The park is split between the Townships of Sturgeon Bay and Jacksonport, and only a short drive from Bailey's Harbor, Egg Harbor, Sister Bay, or Fish Creek.
We are located just across from Lake Park in beautiful Jacksonport! Lake Park has ample parking and access to Lake Michigan, and our parking lot can be seen from the beach. You can’t miss us!
Once you book we will be notified by email with the date/time you scheduled. It is best to call a day ahead of time to ensure the weather is agreeing with us (we don't paddle in rain). We can also then give you up-to-date instructions about clothing protective gear options.
