About this experience
Take a full day to discover the 1000 lingas at Kbal Spean and the amazing Banteay Srei temple plus up to two other temples. Enjoy comfortable transportation from and to your accommodation and on the tour. If you chose an option with a guide, he will explain the history and culture. We will start our tour at the small and charming Pre Rup temple. Then, we'll go to Kbal Spean which is known as the river of 1000 lingas. Banteay Srei is the next spot and we'll explore this beautiful pink stone temple. If time permit, we can visit Preah Khan temple, known as the holy city of victory.

Stop 1
Spend a day discovering the amazing Banteay Srei and Angkor complex, enjoying comfortable transportation from your accommodation to start your day. Begin the tour with the small and charming Pre Rup temple, one of the few remaining, complete structures in the complex.

Stop 2
Next up, visit Kbal Spean and the valley of 1000 lingas (which should NOT be confused with the 1000 lingas nearby Phnom Kulen). Guests walk two kilometres uphill to find the impressive site of the lingas and carvings.

Stop 3
After lunch, visit the highly intricate pink-colored Banteay Srei temple, which translates beautifully to "The Citadel of Women". Thought by many to have been the work of women which would have been highly unusual at the time.

Stop 4
If time permits, on the return journey, detour to the ancient Preah Khan temple, "the holy city of victory". It was built by the great Khmer King Jayavarman VII to dedicate his victory over Cham invasion. Preah Khan was the a center of an important organization with almost 100,000 officials and servants. Right opposite of the temple is the Jayatataka Baray, a large water reservoir.
