We will take you in a journey of olives and olive oil production starting from a tree and finishing on a table. You will learn how olive trees grow and how olives are collected. Then our Host will take us to the world of olive oil production explaining the details and secrets of the pressing procedure. You will be able to see the machines and learn how they work step by step and what are the final products.
After having this introduction to the olives and olive oil world there will be nothing better to try and taste!
Mr. Nikos will show and explain how check the olive oil acidity (quality) and how to taste the liquid gold that you have already learnt so much about. You will be also able to try different types Greek olives, some of the best quality local olive oils and olives pastes.
We will also try some wine from our Host private production, produced from one of the oldest varieties of Greek grapes!
