We will pick you up at 5:00 in the morning at your hotel in Popayan, to head to the town of Isnos.
After a two-hour tour, we will make a stop before arriving in the village of Isnos to enjoy a delicious traditional breakfast and recharge. Then, we will continue the journey until we reach the Archaeological Park of San Agustín, one of the most important archaeological sites in Colombia.
We will explore the park in its entirety and discover the secrets of the pre-Columbian civilizations. Did you know that St. Augustine Archaeological Park is a World Heritage Site?
During the tour, we will admire more than 500 statues carved in volcanic stone, found in the upper basin of the Magdalena River. These sculptures form the largest megalithic ensemble and the largest necropolis in America. At noon we will recharge with a delicious typical lunch that will include a strong dish accompanied by rice, soup or salad.
