Flame Towers is a multi-use complex being developed in Azerbaijan’s capital city Baku. When completed in 2012, the complex will be one of the tallest skyscrapers in the country, at nearly 200m.
The Boulevard along the Caspian is a beautiful, several kilometer long parkway that is a real gem of the city. Baku Boulevard (also known as National Park) is a promenade established in 1909 which runs parallel to Baku's seafront. Its history goes back more than 100 years, to a time when Baku oil barons built their mansions along the Caspian shore and when the seafront was artificially built up inch by inch.
In 2007, the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev signed a decree for the creation of a new building for the museum in the territory of Seaside National Park within the framework of a joint project of the Ministry of Culture and Tourism of the Republic of Azerbaijan, the Heydar Aliyev Foundation, and UNESCO. In 2014, under the direction of Austrian architect Franz Janz, the museum building, which meets all modern requirements, was completed. Over the years, the museum is continuously developed and has become one of the main storage of samples of the Azerbaijan national culture.
The wheel is 60 metres (200 ft) tall and has 30 cabins, each holding eight people. It makes a complete turn in 30 to 40 minutes.[6]The cabinets of the Ferris Wheel are equipped with conditioners. Small monitors have been set up so that passengers can spend their time entertaining. There are totally 30 cabinets which are intended for 8 people each. 2 of them are VIP cabinets which are for 4 people.
